The Canadian operatic pop trio LYRICO are very proud to present next December 4th – A Very Operatic Christmas at Salle Wilfrid Pelletier of La Place des Arts !
This festive Christmas concert will be the perfect way to ring in the season with loved ones !

Marco Bocchicchio, Sam Champagne, and Ian Sabourin, will enthrall their audience with their melodious renditions of two of the most well known and beloved Christmas carols: O Holy Night and The First Noel.
Your heart will certainly be swept away by the grandeur and festive magic of the Holidays as the concert will be supported by the over 45 members of the FILMharmonic Orchestra and Choir, both under the leadership of Maestro Francis Choinière (below):
Together the trio will blend their classically trained vocals to produce sumptuous melodies ranging from opera to pop backed by the orchestra and choir.
Great Italian favorites like Brindisi and Funiculi Funicula will also be performed as part of
their festive repertoire!

Haendel’s Messiah (HWV 56) is an English-language oratorio composed in 1741 by George Frideric Handel.
The Messiah was initially composed by Handel for small vocal and instrumental ensembles with many of the individual numbers having optional arrangements. After his passing, the composition was expanded upon and performed with enormous orchestras and choirs.
Next December 4th at 2pm at La Maison Symphonique de Montréal, l’ Ensemble Caprice, Festival Classica, and Ensemble vocal Arts-Québec are delighted to return to la Maison symphonique to present Handel’s Messiah after their successful tour of the province last year.
Enjoy the beloved holiday classic this season with a choir and orchestra made up of 38 top-notch musicians, led by conductor Matthias Maute.
