A new tourist attraction has opened this summer in Ticonderoga and this past week one of the most powerful men in New York
State politics boldly went where no Assembly Speaker has gone before – to the transporter room of the USS Enterprise. Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie stopped by the Ticonderoga studio & museum where James Crawley has reconstructed the original set from the “Star Trek” TV series.
Heastie also visited the Bridge and sat in the Captain’s chair.
