A recent screening of the new documentary “When I Come Home” premiered at the Moriah Central School Auditorium. The free screening was open to everyone and was followed by a discussion with the filmmakers, and members of Marcus Stoddard’s family.
The film tells the story of the high price paid by a small community in the Adirondacks that lost 5 servicemen in Vietnam, including 19-year old Marcus Stoddard. The film also shares the story of the unusual memorial to Marcus that remains hidden in the back of the fire station in Port Henry.
