As the partial government shutdown enters its third week, President Donald Trump is planning a prime-time address from the Oval Office about what he calls the “humanitarian and national security crisis” at the border.

President Donald Trump is expected to make an announcement on border security at 9 p.m. ET Tuesday from the Oval Office.

The regularly scheduled program “We’ll Meet Again” will air following the special PBS NewsHour broadcast of the Presidents address to the nation.
