With October here, Election Day is just a month away now, and Early Voting will be getting underway in New York in just 3 weeks beginning on October 26th and running for 9 days until November 3rd. Also, this year, for the first time, any voter will be able to cast their ballot by mail, simply by filling out an Early Mail Ballot application. The state or your county board of elections office will send you a ballot that you can drop in the mail, or drop off at any official polling place, right up until and including Election Day on November 5th.
We’re joined by the Board of Elections Commissioners from Clinton County, Mary Dyer and David Souliere, who discuss Early Voting, and the deadlines and steps voters need to take to register to vote or receive an Early Mail Ballot.
Register in New York at ny.gov and or contact the Clinton County Board of Elections at 518-565-4740 or clintoncountyny.gov/boe.
