A Canadian company that makes water park equipment is opening a new manufacturing facility in the Town of Plattsburgh. Vortex manufactures large-scale splashpads and waterslides for theme parks.
The company, that is based in Montreal, plans to open a production facility within the next few months in the old Commissary on the former Plattsburgh Air Force Base.
