Volunteers and Quiltmakers Aid Local Hospital

A school in Lake Placid is using 3-D printers to aid local hospitals and Emergency Responders in the fight against the Coronavirus. The Northwood School will soon be turning out hundreds of face shields for healthcare workers at Adirondack Health in Saranac Lake. Also, more than 100 quilters are busy at their sewing machines, making covers for N-95 face masks for Adirondack Health.
