Exhibition Greenhouse, at the 22nd
edition of Butterflies Go Free: a
spectacular interactive walk though nursery where hundreds of shimmerings
butterflies fly around freely in a lush green setting .
Young and old can marvel at the over 50 species on display and learn about the science behind their splendour.
During March break, you and your family can plan a Bug Bites guided activity with an experienced guide where you can get answers to all your questions about the magical four stages of metamorphosis of a Butterfly .
This year the Botanical Gardens is offering visitors fixed-time entry tickets.
Other wonderful family activities are held at the Planétarium Rio Tinto Alcan where you can spend time among the stars in Polaris , the new kid friendly animation show, (starting March 1st) , that introduces you to amateur astromersJames, a travelling penguin from the South Pole, and Vladimir, a funny bear from the North Pole, who meet on the Arctic sea ice.
They will take visitors of all ages on a voyage around the Earth and learn the secrets of the changing seasons
