The Town of Plattsburgh has declared the month of July, Michigan Month. As part of this third annual celebration, the Planning and Community Development Department has brought back the Michigan passport program for all four Michigan restaurants in the Town of Plattsburgh: Gus’ Red Hots, Ronnie’s Michigan Stand, Clare & Carl’s, and McSweeney’s Red Hots. Stop by Plattsburgh Town Hall, the Chamber of Commerce, or any of the participating restaurants to pick up your passport. The first 25 passport holders to complete and return their passport to Town Hall will receive a free Michigan Month t-shirt. Once the first 25 t-shirts have been claimed, the Town will have a limited supply of t-shirts for sale. July 19th will see the return of the Michigan Fun-Run as a collaboration with Parks & Recreation and the CVPH Foundation.
The 2023 Michigan T-shirt Design Contest winner is Vincent Conti, a SUNY Plattsburgh graduate. The design was revealed at the Michigan Month kickoff event held today at Town Hall.
