The Time Warp again! Rocky Horror live in Plattsburgh

Spirits in the October air are whispering it’s time to do the Time Warp again.

Adirondack Regional Theatre presents The Rocky Horror Show at the Strand Center Theatre in Plattsburgh this month.  It opens October 29th for three performances.  This marks the very first scripted theatrical production on the Strand stage in about a year and nine months, the venue having only recently opened to audiences again since it closed because of the pandemic.

The twisted tale of a stormy night in a spooky castle features 19 local actors backed by six musicians.

The famous movie The Rocky Horror Picture Show was made two years after the stage show had opened in London in 1973.  While movie goers often come armed with props, patrons at the Strand are asked not to bring props to the live show, although singing and shouting will be encouraged.  Audience members must bring proof of vaccination (or proof of a negative COVID test within 72 hours of arrival), a photo ID card, and a mask to wear for safety.

Enjoy The Rocky Horror Show Friday, October 29 at 7:30 pm and Saturday, October 30 at 7:30 pm and midnight. Tickets are available online at strandcenter.org, in person at the Strand Center at 23 Brinkerhoff Street in Plattsburgh, or by calling (518) 563-1604.
