The story of Jeanne Robert Foster, and a new season of Murder in Sweden | Passport Picks

In honor of Women’s History Month, our first Passport Pick this week is Seasons of a Poet: The Jeanne Robert Foster Story, an original production from Mountain Lake PBS!

Jeanne Robert Foster, born into a humble Adirondack family in the 19th century, became a friend to the great artists and writers of the early 20th century. Her Adirondack heritage became an ever present theme for her poetry, as well as a source of inspiration for this strong, feminist journalist, social reformer, and beauty.

Season 4 of Murder in Sweden comes to Passport this Friday, March 14th!

On picturesque Swedish island, Maria juggles being a good mother and detective–all while sustaining her female perspective and approach to life–and solving some heinous crimes. From Walter Presents, in Swedish with English subtitles.
