The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts welcomes you to re-discover the multicolored world of “Nicolas Party: L’heure mauve” (Mauve Twilight) with their new Monochrome themed evening parties.
One Wednesday each month, from 5 to 9 p.m., the Museum is hosting a Monochrome Party: a colour-filled celebration around a theme presented in the galleries of the exhibition “Nicolas Party : L’heure mauve”.
Come admire the 7 galleries that explore various worlds as seen through the eyes of the artist that creates a dialogue with pieces from the museum’s permanent collections.
Last April 20th the atmosphere was RED-hot as the Museum held their second Monochrome Party!
On offer: a visit of the exhibition at half price, a DJ set by OJPB, a monochrome cocktail ($), a creative workshop, and a photobooth.
At 7 p.m., it was off to the Cinéma du Musée to see Bambi, which Nicolas Party himself selected for the occasion.
The next one — the Blue Monochrome Party • Nature Sublime, — will be held next May 18, 2022.
