It’s the season of giving in northern New York and as always, the Clinton County Christmas Bureau is making sure that kids do not go without presents under the tree. Dozens of Volunteers at the Christmas Bureau are making their lists and checking them twice to make sure that kids get gifts for the holidays.
Director Tammy Perrotte Sears says the organization started back in the 1950s when it was just a small church group that donated presents to kids. Now, nearly 80 years later, she says the organization has raised upwards of $50,000 to help hundreds of families with gifts, warm clothes, and meals.
