Conversation with Democratic candidate Tedra Cobb

Now the primaries have passed, candidates and voters are turning their attention to the midterm elections in November. There is a record number of women running for the House and Senate this year, including here in Northern New York, where, for the first time, all 3 of the candidates running for the 21st House District Seat are women. Democrats are hoping to flip the seat and the House of Representatives.

Tedra Cobb, and Green Party candidate Lynn Kahn, are both challenging the Republican incumbent, Elise Stefanik, who made history herself by being the youngest woman ever elected to Congress at the age of 30. This fall she is seeking a third term. Over the next few weeks, leading up to Election Day, we will host a debate here on Mountain Lake PBS, and have asked the candidates to sit down with us for in-depth interviews to help voters heading to the polls on November 6th.
