StoryWalk® is back at Cascade Welcome Center on January 13th, from 10-11:30 AM!
Join the Adirondack Mountain Club, Mountain Lake PBS, and the Lake Placid Public Library as we open this year’s StoryWalk® at the Cascade Welcome Center in Lake Placid, NY. Start the day by walking, snowshoeing, or skiing the StoryWalk® featuring local author Kate Messner’s book Over and Under the Snow. Then head inside for winter themed crafts, activities, hot chocolate, and a free children’s book to take home, courtesy of the Hallock Giving Library.
The StoryWalk® is outside so come prepared to spend roughly 30 minutes outside in potentially unpredictable weather. Snowshoes will be provided if needed.
