SUNY Plans to Hold In-Person Commencement

Many of those nursing students will be graduating this May. Unlike last year, when COVID cancelled in-person graduation ceremonies, Plattsburgh & other SUNY schools are getting the green light to hold commencement ceremonies this year. Students will once again be able to receive their diplomas together, in person, instead of having to take part in virtual commencements. The school will hold six separate commencement ceremonies throughout the day. There will be one virtual option for students who could not or choose not to attend in person.
