The Annual Ball of the Montreal Chinese Hospital Foundation is without a doubt, the most coveted event in the Chinese and Asian community .
From their humble beginnings just a little over a century ago , the hospital started as a small community clinic founded by warmhearted and committed individuals who had immense compassion for humanity.
Fast forward to 2019 , the Montreal Chinese Hospital has endured the test of time by becoming a cornerstone of Montreal’s Chinese-Canadian Cultural Heritage ,whose legacy is supported by its current foundation committee members who all carry the pride, hope and dreams of it’s original founders.

This November 2nd at Hôtel Bonaventure Montréal, the committee and its president Mr Raymond Tsim, has the immense pleasure to invite you to join in the festive celebration of their magnificent annual fundraising charity gala, entitled Butterfly Lovers, honoring the one hundred and first year of service of the Montreal Chinese Hospital.
This 29th annual black tie gala will usher in a new beginning in the rich history of the Montreal Chinese Hospital.
The Gala will also be the launch of a three year fund raising campaign with a 2 million dollar goal that will help improve the well-being of the hospital residents and lay the foundation for the Hospital’s aspirational goals of improving the outdoor living space and raising seed funding for a not-for profit research center to better service the community.
Guests of this elaborate gala will include dignitaries and influencers from the business, cultural and political world of China and Canada.
The committee recently had the immense pleasure to announce that the Goodman Foundation from the Morris and Rosalind family were the first to step up as Ruby Sponsors for this magnificent Gala.
