Spice, Style & Signature Cocktails: India Rosa Opens Its Doors at Quartier DIX30

Good news Foodies: The South Shore just got a lot more flavorful.

India Rosa, the beloved Montreal-based restaurant brand known for its modern Indian tapas and artful cocktails, has officially arrived at Quartier DIX30 in Brossard—bringing with it a vibrant blend of tradition, creativity, and celebration.

Following the success of their Plateau and Griffintown locations, the Sandhu family’s third India Rosa promises to be more than just a restaurant—it’s a full sensory experience.

I had the chance to attend the dazzling media opening earlier this week, and though I didn’t sit for a full meal, the evening offered a delicious glimpse into what diners can expect. From sampling signature mango cocktails bursting with tropical flair to savoring bite-sized tapas infused with authentic Indian spices, the flavors were bold, fresh, and undeniably fun. I even got to spin a massive prize wheel, get intricate henna designs on my hand, and taste a rare $400 bottle of tequila (yes, it was worth the sip).

And the party doesn’t stop at the food. Guests at the grand opening were treated to mesmerizing dance performances, pulsing DJ beats, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that hinted at the energy India Rosa will bring to DIX30 nights.

Located on the ground floor of Hôtel Escad at 1000 rue du Lux, the spacious 6000-square-foot venue seats up to 110 guests and features over 20 bar seats, a stunning glass-walled kitchen, and a design that pays homage to both local craftsmanship and global elegance. Ninety percent of the furnishings were made in Quebec, thanks to a collaboration with Atelier Cabe, but the soft tones, flowing fabrics, and earthy textures transport guests into a dreamlike, rose-hued escape.

India Rosa DIX30 stays true to its signature formula of “tapas & cocktails”—a curated menu of 18 small plates inspired by Indian street food, with a strong showing of vegetarian and vegan options. To drink, the cocktail list is a mixologist’s dream: 50 unique creations infused with South Asian spices, tropical fruits, and eye-catching garnishes.

But perhaps the most exciting addition to this new outpost is the weekend fusion brunch, created in collaboration with Arnaud Glay of Montreal’s famed Passé Composé. Think: French technique meets Indian soul, in dishes designed to surprise and delight from the first bite.

Open daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., India Rosa DIX30 is poised to become a go-to destination for everything from birthday brunches to after-hours cocktails. With ample parking, a prime location, and an atmosphere that feels both upscale and effortless, this isn’t just another restaurant—it’s where flavor, culture, and celebration come together.

If you’re looking to spice up your dining routine, India Rosa DIX30 is ready to welcome you with open arms, a cocktail shaker, and maybe even a touch of henna.
