A wearied traveler from the north, a snowy owl, who turned up in a family’s dairy barn on Thanksgiving Day, malnourished and unable to fly, was nursed back to health by wildlife biologists at VINS, the Nature Center and Bird Rehab Center in Vermont. After getting some much-needed TLC, the snowy owl was released recently at the Dead Creek Wildlife Management Area in Addison, Vermont. We are happy to share the story courtesy of VINS and WCAX-TV.
