Many of you, or your children, grew up enjoying the program Sesame Street. This year, we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the multi-award-winning show. Join us for the big golden anniversary! Sesame Street: 50th Anniversary Celebration airs Sunday, November 17 at 7 pm, and Friday, November 22 at noon, on Mountain Lake PBS.
It features a host of guest stars, and guess who’s back on the street to say hello! Bob, Susan, Gordon, Maria, and other people we haven’t seen in a while. Also, Kermit the Frog makes a special appearance on the street that made him a household name.
Our Paul Larson grew up as a big fan of Sesame Street. Enjoy his archival interview with Caroll Spinney, who played Big Bird until retiring in 2018.
