Sen. Betty Little Retires

This week on a special edition of Mountain Lake Journal, we look back on the long and distinguished career of North Country State Senator Betty Little, who is retiring after more than 3 decades of public service. Her career in politics began in 1986 with the Board of Supervisors in Warren County and then continued for 25 years representing the North Country in the New York State Legislature. She was elected to the Assembly in 1995 and then the State Senate in 2002, filling the seat held by long-time Senator Ronald Stafford. We sit down with Senator Little to talk about her career and accomplishments, and her new position, in retirement, as a member of the Board of Directors for the Olympic Regional Development Authority.
