The Rockwell Kent Gallery on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus is undergoing renovations this summer and while it’s closed the SUNY Plattsburgh Art Museum is hosting a Rockwell Kent exhibit across campus in the Burke Art Gallery in Myers Fine Arts that’s featuring 100 prints by Rockwell Kent that are part of the SUNY Plattsburgh collection.
Kent was an amazing and prolific illustrator and several of the prints included in this exhibition are being shown in public for the first time. The 100 Prints of Rockwell Kent Exhibit is a rare opportunity to see nearly all of Kent’s works that are featured in the book published by Dan Burne Jones.
The prints will be on display at the Burke Gallery on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus through August 4th.
