Reporters Roundtable: Soaring Utility Bills, Regional Homelessness, and the Olympic Spirit

This week we bring together reporters covering the news here in the North Country to talk about some of the big stories over the past few weeks including the soaring cost of electricity this winter and some of the highest utility bills many customers have seen in years. We also talk about the efforts to combat homelessness in our region, and the push to get New York State to bid on hosting another Winter Olympics with support growing for a joint New York City/Lake Placid bid to host the 2038 or 2042 Winter Games.

We are joined by Pat Bradley, who is the North Country Bureau Chief for WAMC Northeast Public Radio, Alek LaShomb, who is the Plattsburgh Bureau Chief for WCAX-TELEVISION, and Carly Newton, who reports for the Plattsburgh Press Republican Newspaper.
