We remember award winning author Russell Banks, who in so many ways helped promote the arts and literature in the Adirondacks. Russell was also one of the original founders of the Lake Placid Film Forum. He died this past weekend at the age of 82. Our Paul Larson interviewed Russell in 2018 and again in 2021, and talked with him about his career. Paul also asked Russell about the adaptations of his works, and an opera he had written set in the Adirondacks.
