Reading Rainbow Live | MLJ Interview

A classic children’s tv show on PBS for many years is getting a makeover. Reading Rainbow, which aired for more than 20 years on PBS, is making a comeback, and hoping to reach a new generation of kids.

It’s set to return early next year as Reading Rainbow Live, an interactive children’s event featuring multiple hosts from diverse backgrounds. And a very familiar face, Amy Guglielmo, who we know well as a teacher, artist, and children’s book author and illustrator from Plattsburgh, is the Creative Director of the new venture.

She joined us by Zoom this week to talk about the upcoming launch of Reading Rainbow Live.
