Groups Face Off at Border Over Refugees

Canada’s Election heightened debate over immigration policies, including the tens of thousands of migrants who have crossed the border since 2017 seeking asylum. Just two days prior to Election Day, far-right and anti-immigration groups demonstrated at the Lacolle, Quebec Border Crossing, 5 miles from Roxham Road where the majority of Asylum Seekers have entered Canada. There was also a counter-demonstration by pro-refugee supporters. Watch their news conference in this video provided by Bridges Not Borders:
