The City of Plattsburgh is looking to become a more bike-friendly community with plans to add more bike lanes to city streets and even dedicate sections of some streets to bike traffic. Those “bike boulevards” would run alongside busier city streets. The City is planning a community bike ride on July 11th from SUNY Plattsburgh up Park Avenue West to Peter Blumette Park where the city will outline its plans.
