The half-marathon that has become a signature event in Plattsburgh, marks a milestone. The race being held this coming Sunday will be the 10th annual half-marathon d relay race.
We’ll talk with the organizers, and co-founders of the race, Stephanie Desautels and Jen Boyer, about the awareness, and the hundreds-of-thousands of dollars it has raised for Parkinson’s research.
There is still time for runners to register. The City Rec Center at 52 U.S. Oval in Plattsburgh will sign up runners from 2-5pm on Saturday, May 4th. Also, runners can sign up the morning of the race at the City Rec Center from 6-7:30am, on Sunday, May 5th. The race begins at 8am. For course map/registration info: www.plattsburghhalfmarathon.com
