After entertaining North Country audiences for nearly 45 years in Saranac Lake, New York, administrators at Pendragon Theatre realized a change was absolutely necessary for the company to continue. Even though the theatrical traditions of Pendragon are revered in the community, theatre officials decided a new venue would improve the company and increase usage for the stage.

The new facility at 56 Woodruff Street features a state-of-the-art theatre space, dressing rooms, and a rehearsal room. It also has a lobby envisioned as a place where local artists may display their work.
Managing Director Michael Aguirre of Pendragon Theatre tells Spotlight producer Paul Larson what to expect from a change of venue.

Construction work on the new Pendragon Theatre is expected to be complete in March. The first major show in the new venue is Noises Off, beginning June 24.
