The Passport Pick of the Week comes from our Director of Engagement and Marketing, Jen —
“I’m a sucker for cooking shows. I missed “No Passport Required” when it first aired in 2018, so now I’m catching up on Passport. An American immigrant, Chef Marcus Samuelsson, was born in Ethiopia and raised in Sweden. In “No Passport Required,” he explores the incredible diversity of food and culture across the country. Season 1 highlight for me was the Washington DC episode. Mmm….. all that injera!”
You can join chef Marcus Samuelsson on his inspiring journey, as he travels across the U.S. exploring and celebrating the wide-ranging diversity of immigrant traditions and cuisine woven into American food and culture! “No Passport Required” embodies America’s extraordinarily rich cultural diversity, and you can experience it all — from the flavorful fare of Washington, DC’s Little Ethiopia to Fremont, California’s Little Kabul, with its large Afghan population, to the thriving Vietnamese shrimpers on the bayous of Louisiana!
Catch up on Season 1, and binge season 2 now with MLPBS Passport!
