The North Country’s delegation in the New York State Legislature gives community leaders an overview of the legislative session in Albany and the “affordability crisis” happening across New York this winter at the yearly Legislative Breakfast Forum hosted by the North Country Chamber of Commerce.
We sat down with State Senator Dan Stec to talk more about that, how Republicans in both the Assembly and Senate are calling for the repeal of the state’s climate law, the CPCPA, which they say is adding to the skyrocketing utility bills that many New Yorkers have been dealing with this winter, as well as some of the other budget issues as budget negotiations intensify in the coming weeks.
