NY Launches Online Public Health Emergency Training

Governor Andrew Cuomo recently talked about how New York State needs to be ready, in case another pandemic happens. Saying the state needs to “get serious” about a public health emergency plan, the Governor announced what he says is a first in the nation, the New York State Citizen Public Health Training Program, which will be offered through Cornell University. The University has developed a curriculum for citizens to be trained about public health emergencies. Enrollment in the free and open now. The 16-hour online course will begin on April 30. https://nypublichealth.cornell.edu/portal/nyspublichealth/
