Republicans appear to have won some key races in the North Country, including Congresswoman Elise Stefanik in her bid for a 4th term in the U.S. House. Assemblyman Dan Stec is the unofficial winner of the New York State Senate 45th District seat in the North Country, and Town of Horicon Supervisor Matt Simpson is the unofficial winner of the 3-way race to fill Stec’s seat in the New York Assembly’s 114th District.
