Clinton County Historical Association and the America 250 Committee will mark America’s 250th anniversary with events in 2025 and 2026, including a reenactment of the 1776 Battle of Valcour at Plattsburgh City Beach on October 11, 2026. The celebration will feature dinners, speakers, and a flotilla of ships.
