The North Country Chamber of Commerce hosted a Tele-Town Hall on Thursday, April 9th, with NY 21 Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, NYS Senator Betty Little, and NYS Assemblyman Billy Jones.
Topics discussed include: Federal PPP funding for small businesses through the SBA; thousands of people are having difficulty getting through to the State, and NYS Department of Labor, to apply for unemployment benefits; and the crisis facing dairy farmers who have seen their markets for milk shrink dramatically; the crisis has highlighted the lack of reliable, sufficient cellular service; and the need for additional COVID-19 Testing in the North Country.
