After more than two years of COVID-19 restrictions that closed the Northern Border to all but essential travelers, Canadians can once again cross the border without having to take a COVID test. Businesses and the Chamber of Commerce are hopeful the dropping of the testing requirements will get more Canadian travelers to head south. The Chamber has launched a new campaign to welcome Canadians back with signs for businesses to display as well as messages posted to social media. It’s no surprise the North Country is going all out to put out the welcome mat, Canadians provide a huge boost to the North Country’s economy.
