Norsk CEO Interview

Norsk Titanium announced this week it has landed a major contract to build parts for Boeing. Norsk says the company will use its industrial-scale 3D printers to produce four titanium parts for Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner. The company says it’s significant because Boeing’s 787s will be the first commercial airplanes to use titanium parts made by 3D printers. Norsk Titanium is planning to install 20 Rapid Plasma Deposition 3D printers in Plattsburgh this year, and hire up to 400 workers over the next few years.
