A new documentary looks at one of New York’s greatest political families, and the life and legacy of former Governor Mario Cuomo. We talk with the film’s producer, Matt Ryan, who is the Managing Editor at New York NOW, the weekly political program that airs on PBS stations across New York. The documentary chronicles Cuomo’s 12-years as New York’s Governor and his flirtations with running for president. The film includes a rare interview with Cuomo’s son, Andrew, who followed in his father’s footsteps as Governor of New York. The documentary, Governor Mario Cuomo: Poetry and Prose, airs on February 19th at 6pm on Mountain Lake PBS.
