A free class offered this fall by the North Country Chamber of Commerce will train new welders desperately needed by local manufacturers, like railcar maker Alstom, to help build hundreds of railcars at its Plattsburgh factory.
The next Welding Academy begins September 30th, go to the North Country Chamber of Commerce’s website for more information and to sign-up. The deadline is Friday, August 16, 2024.
