A popular wintertime attraction reopens in the High Peaks of the Adirondacks. The Adirondack Mountain Club has purchased the Cascade Cross Country Ski Center in Lake Placid from the Jubin family and reopened it as a year-round welcome center, offering 10 miles of skiing and snowshoeing on groomed trails with spectacular views of the High Peaks.
