A new drug and alcohol addiction recovery center has opened in old Clinton Community College dormitories and dining hall on the former Plattsburgh Air Force Base, to help addicts get their lives back on track. The MHAB project, founded by businessman Michael Carpenter, and Champlain Valley Family Center’s All Ways To Recovery Community Center are both located on site. The dorms provide transitional housing and services for people in various stages of recovery, or those who are homeless.
MHAB Founder Michael Carpenter and CVFC CEO Connie Wille join us to talk about the launch of the project.
