Known only by her research number, Grizzly 399 has been a fixture in Grand Teton National Park since 2007, becoming the world’s most famous grizzly bear. As human-grizzly interactions within and around the park increase due to various factors, wildlife biologists are faced with a difficult task: keeping grizzlies and the humans they interact with safe.
