National Intern Day

Like a mechanical watch there are so many gears and pieces that need to work together to keep Public Television in our community.  We are always grateful for all of those who take part in this great effort: our members, underwriters, donors, viewers, Facebook post share-ers, staff and more.

For some becoming a part of the Mountain Lake PBS family is even more.  Nellie, who has been volunteering at the station for over 30 years, has made Mountain Lake PBS a family tradition. Jamie and Emily remember accompanying their grandmother during her weekly visits to the station when they were just 6 and 7 years old. We could not be more grateful to Nellie and her family for believing in our mission and for making us part of their memories together.

But as today is National Intern Day, we wanted to give special thanks to the volunteers and interns that have been working with us this summer!

Thanks for all the hard work and amazing effort that these and other interns and volunteers have put in this summer!
