Plattsburgh, NY – Mountain Lake PBS is excited to announce the premiere of Music from Meadowmount, on April 17 at 9 PM. The series highlights exceptional performances from the summer of 2022 at the Meadowmount School of Music, a training ground for young musicians in the Adirondack Mountains of New York.
Founded in 1944 by Ivan Galamian, one of the greatest violin teachers of the 20th century, Meadowmount School of Music offers aspiring violinists, violists, and cellists the opportunity to study with internationally renowned faculty and connect with other young musicians from around the world. The school is focused on musical excellence and offers an intensive training program to prepare its students for professional careers in classical music.
Music from Meadowmount showcases six performances from the summer of 2022, giving viewers a glimpse into the talent and dedication of the next generation of classical musicians training at Meadowmount School of Music. This new series is sure to captivate classical music lovers, and anyone interested in the future of classical music.
