Running this July 29th to August 2nd2022, twenty five thousand festival goers are expected to converge in Montreal to celebrate diversity !
” After difficult times, our communities need to come together more than ever to celebrate,” says Simon Gamache , the executive Director of Montreal Pride. ” Inclusive, committed and ambitious , Montreal Pride aspires to always be more representative of the diversity of the 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. ” We are equally thrilled that 200 orgagnizations will be participating in the Community Days on August 5th and 6th in the village. Also dozens of projects for and by the communities will be taking place all over Montreal culminating in the festive and very iconic PRIDE PARADE, presented by Air Canada, on August 7th , a powerful moment of celebration , commemoration and advocacy for our communities.

This year 150 artists, 7 days of activities, 12 free major events , more than 100 community activities and 200 organizations are coming together to celebrate diversity in the heart of the city !
Some headline acts include the opening night concerts by Montreal songwriter Diane Dufresne and Congolese-born, Montréal-based musician, songwriter and DJ Pierre Kwenders

Thursday, August 4 / 8:00 pm-11:00 pm / Esplanade of the Olympic Park
Activities will take place at the esplanade du Parc Olympique , Downtown and in Mtl’s village.
With over 25 000 expected participants , in order to improve the festival experience and in response to the growing popularity of the Festival, the 2022 Montréal Pride performances and shows will take place on the site of the Olympic Park Esplanade.
Concerts start at 8pm.
*** Of note: the Olympic park is a 20 minute drive from the gay village.
