We hear from the business leaders hoping to bring Major League Baseball back to Montreal. Major League Baseball has given a group headed by Stephen Bronfman, son of former Montreal Expos owner Charlie Bronfman, permission to explore a partnership with the owner of the Tampa Bay Rays that would split the 81-game home season for the Rays between new stadiums in Florida and Quebec. The Montreal group is beginning to look into constructing a new, open air stadium in downtown Montreal. The owner of the Rays says the team could potentially start splitting the season between Tampa and Montreal within the next few years.
