The Montreal Chamber Music Festival, founded and directed by renowned Canadian cellist Denis Brott, celebrates its 30th season with performances from Saturday, June 7, to Sunday, June 22, 2025. This year’s edition features 13 concerts—five of which are admission-free—and emphasizes celebrations and tributes.
Great artists perform classical and jazz repertoire in Montreal’s most iconic venues: Bourgie Hall at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, and the Cinquième Salle and the Maison symphonique at the Place des Arts. The Festival welcomes Celtic legend violinist Natalie MacMaster, her husband, and their seven children; four concertmasters from Canada’s top orchestras; the Janoska Ensemble from Vienna; and international piano competition winners Gabriele Strata and Illia Ovcharenko, along with violin stars James Ehnes, Blake Pouliot, Kerson Leong, and many others.
Leading up to its 30th edition, the Festival presented Health and Wellness concerts at the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) and the Neurological Institute. These deeply healing presentations, held in hospitals, are specially created for doctors, healthcare workers, and patients. Sponsored by TD Bank, our live performances are part of the world-class medical care that Montrealers enjoy.
