Mohawk storyteller fights stereotypes about Native Americans
“Spotlight” – NATIVE AMERICAN ARTISTRY – MOHAWK STORYTELLER – Storyteller Kay Olan is a retired school teacher who still enjoys educating people about Native traditions through stories. She also says people should avoid stereotyping Native peoples, and uses the tales she tells to help combat some of those stereotypes.
