Democrat Michael Cashman will resign as Plattsburgh Town Supervisor and assume the 115th State Assembly District seat after a close victory over Republican Brent Davison in the special election Tuesday night. Cashman will fill out the term of Assemblyman Billy Jones, who stepped down in early September to head up Clinton Community College’s Institute for Advanced Manufacturing. Michael Cashman sat down with us to talk about his election win and priorities as the newest member of the New York State Assembly.
