As we mark the 3rd anniversary of the COVID pandemic, daily life in many ways has returned to normal. Most of the COVID mandates and restrictions have been lifted, although some do remain in effect. For example, only Canadians who are vaccinated can enter the United States through land border crossings. And many businesses, especially restaurants, have cut back on their hours due to the labor shortage that became a major issue during the pandemic. We discuss those issues with North Country Chamber of Commerce CEO Garry Douglas, and get an update on how the region’s largest hospital is dealing with COVID three years after the outbreak in 2020.
